A drive in theater in Paramount has reopened bringing back lots of good memories. Paramount Drive-In getting a ‘first-class’ reopening

So, this begs the question:

What was your favorite snack bar snack?

We usually popped our own popcorn and took in a large brown paper bag. But, when I was allowed to spend money at the snack bar I was crazy about the really bad pizza.

I had to Google - these are something I've never heard of before!
They are yummy! (And loud when somebody drops a box and then the whole contents roll from the top of the theatre to the bottom, down each step.... I'm sure people used to wait for the quietest, most intense part of the movie before 'dropping' them.)

Ah - the drive in! We still have one here. I've taken the kids a few times. We pop the hatchback, I sit in a lawn chair, spray on some bug spray and have a blast. I'm so happy there's one here in Memphis. I grew up going to them. My favorite snack bar snack was and still is the giant pickle in a bag.

My parents never believed in drive-ins. Living in NYC as a kid it was broadway shows and Radio City musical Hall. However, as a teen on the south Jersey shore, sure learned about drive-ins. And as a college student in Philly too- nothing like a drive-in right by the major airport.
Milk Duds were the best.

I love them . . .if you try to chew too many at once they will glue your teeth together!
