A sweet girl! It made my heart smile to hear this news this morning. Little bit of happy and good, among all the bad and sad in the news.
Mine came damaged. That Kate person was not up to snuff.

I strongly suspect it will. But I hope it's not her first name.
I would prefer Alexandra or Elizabeth for her first name. (Elizabeth after the Queen mum).
There are also names from Kate's side. Good thing most royals have 4 names.

I was thinking Victoria (after Queen Victoria) or even Mary (after Mary Queen of Scots) but somehow I doubt they would pick that.
Diana was the third name that came to mind (for the baby's would-be Granny, had she lived).
Well. I saw the succession line in the paper - it went all the way to 27, or something like that - and started quizzing Grandma about people and their places. She got the first six right, and she was real close on the seventh - just couldn't remember the name.
I'm constantly amazed at how many Americans embrace this royalty thing after sloughing it off over 200 years ago. And I don't say that meanly. The concept just seems to have some magic about it for people other than me.

Just kidding.........she's a little cutie. Would love to see Diana come into play, but such a legacy to live up to. Middle name perhaps?
