Oh, the coffee as a kid.

One of my earliest memories is sitting on my own Grandma's lap, by the potbellied stove, and taking wee sips of coffee. She liked it black, no sugar, and I remember not liking the taste, but I felt special there on her lap sharing her coffee, so I sipped away.

Now I might drink four or five cups in a day, or none at all for the weekend. I can drink a cup of coffee at night and go to sleep (although my preference is tea). It doesn't make me up or keep me awake. It's just another thing to drink. Black, of course, no sugar.

This is me too. I prefer tea. But drink black coffee. I can go through streaks of having one a day, and then nothing for months. Doesn't keep me awake at all.
