What dumbazz buys a fresh jar of Nutella on Fat Tuesday? That'd be me. And it's staring at me today, as I fast. And eat fish. The fish was good, and Nan bread. I always feel like I'm in 1st century Palestine when I eat Nan. I scoop my food up with it just like they did back in the day. Tomorrow I'll smear Nutella on it.

Yes, GNT!!! Also, the baker told me they are Polish origin. He also said the authentic Paczki have
prune filling. No thanks, I like the ones in the pics much better.

Too bad there isn't a book by Sai King set down here in the Big E. We could totally have a King Kon down here. Graveyard tours, Carriage rides, jazz everywhere, streetcars, the haunted FQ tours, beignets, the works.

Every year my younger brother does his 'Rice' pilgrimage at Mardi Gras In touring the neighborhoods, they always go visit Anne Rice's house.
