I am making potatoes casserole.or perhaps homemade chicken noodle soup. Love those homemade noodles.

For this snowy day, I am making a Shephard's Pie with rich beefy gravy.

A stack of pancakes hot of the griddle with butter and warm maple syrup dripping off them… yum!

Pasta. Any pasta dish as lond as it has lots of sauce. Cheese or tomato.As long as there is pasta. If time is short Koka noodles will do. But gots to be pasta.

I like to cook a roast on really cold days, (Chicken usually, but on the occasion that we can afford it--lamb or mutton is lovely) with roast potatoes, kumara, pumpkin, carrots and minted baby peas... oh and a lovely rich gravy made from the cooking juices.
Oh hell, now I'm salivating...
