This autumn is a long one. Started...oh, October 2015, I think.
I generally like the cooler, fine days, the colours, stuff like that. There's not much better than being out for a stroll on a sunny autumn afternoon. Even the cold, overcast mornings have a certain charm, especially once there's a nice load of leaves to crunch and kick your way through (not that I do that; I mean, I'm not a kid anymore).
It's just that, having had more or less the same temperature and conditions for almost 12 months now (minus the leaves for the most part, and allowing for about a week's worth of bright sun and high temps scattered between the end of May and early-mid September), it's getting a tad thin.

I was going to say nothing as I'm not a cold weather fan and anything below 75 is cold to me. Then realized the one positive thing I could say about fall is that I get to start cooking comfort food meals again. The SO complains about heating up the house if I try any of that in the summer.

I know! Can you believe that--and living nearly all my life in NE?! It's true, though--have never liked baked beans even the homemade ones.

Don't like okra or lima beans either.:barf:
