Yup that's the one. Gotta just like it for entertainment purposes only, because one has to wonder why he dosen't just look around for another pair of specs. There's got to be a million of them just laying around. Is "Time Enough at Last" the one where Burgess Meredith survives a disaster and have all the time to read and then breaks his glasses? I also like the one with the tumble weeds, or was that Outer Limits>
That one's real, and a good one!Oh - I have to rack my brain for that. I recorded a bunch yesterday, so I'll watch tonight and let you know. There's the one I mentioned yesterday where the kids jump in a lake and go stay with some woman under the water - but I'm not sure that's real or if I dreamed it. Does it sound familiar to ya'll?
Yeah, I know what you mean, but the first time I saw it it killed me.Yup that's the one. Gotta just like it for entertainment purposes only, because one has to wonder why he dosen't just look around for another pair of specs. There's got to be a million of them just laying around.
I remember something about tumble weeds, but it escapes me.
...you say that like it's a bad thing...I think she just grunts and moans doesn't she?

Oh, Lord, you just know Scott is going to be all over this one......I think she just grunts and moans doesn't she?
Classic, classic episode! I love Eye Of The Beholder, too! And All The Time In The World! So many to pick from! The Invaders, too, with Agnes Moorehead(later to star as the mean mother in law on Bewitched) who is bedeviled by tiny aggressive spacemen..nice twist at the end..
The Masks, Eye of the Beholder, The After Hours
I'm thinking all of us book nerds have special feelings for that one! Those are a few of my favorites but the one I really liked best is the one with Burgess Meredith Time Enough at Last.
There's a movie starring Martin Landau titled Welcome Home, Johnny Bristol, about a prisoner of war who had been brainwashed and who, upon returning to the States, can only remember one thing about himself, that he was born and raised in a town called Charles, Vermont.Charles Vermont? Ring any bells...or is that The Outer Limits?

Yes, that's a Twilight Zone ep, titled "The Bewitchin' Pool".Oh - I have to rack my brain for that. I recorded a bunch yesterday, so I'll watch tonight and let you know. That's the movie I saw.Yeah...I think I saw something about that when I was looking for evidence of what I remembered. I should look for a pic of Martin Landau. What I recall about the tv-show/movie? is the actor...amnesia, like I said...and him going to these people for assistance in recalling who he is/was...he is older in the 'now'...and...ummm, memory here, but seems like...his mother maybe...was assaulted...or maybe it was both parents...at Charles and Vermont, the intersection. I think the last clip of the show was that signpost...Charles/Vermont. Thought it was curious that there is another show/movie that makes use of Charles/Vermont.
That's the movie I saw.
Poor Burgess in this one! haha, the poor guy,if you wear glasses, you had to feel for him, cause all the optometrists and eyeglasses are gone..finally,he can read to his heart's content,but..Those are a few of my favorites but the one I really liked best is the one with Burgess Meredith Time Enough at Last.
