I don't know anything about it. And I will make this clinical and hence (I hope) avoid mod problems.
Knowing nothing about this other than what Sigs posted, I don't know what the effects of the pharmaceutical may be.
Viagra affects blood flow and retention and helps to pool blood in the genitals, thereby helping to effect and maintain an erection, because blood retention in the penile structures is the dynamics involved there.
So a "female Viagra".... does what? Engorges the clitoris? Increases the fluid production of Bartholin's glands to further lubricate the vagina? I'm not sure of the biomechanics here.
(At this point, DiO can interject, saying that I can make everything too clinical and/or wordy to be entertaining.)
I think if people find their natural processes lacking, we can sympathize if they want to turn to other means. It's always been that way. And the more complex we get as species and as a society, the more complex the proposed solutions.
Personally, I've found worry-free sex (i.e., birth control) to be a pretty effective aphrodisiac. But if the government wants to substitute that concept for another, who am I to argue? (Followed by a low growl.)
