Man all the talk about candy and soda pop..getting hungry!
That just reminded me, when I was in school you could get wonka popping candy chocolate bars for a bit, then they disappeared and came back recently with 2 flavours - shortbread and creme brulee. Worst come back ever.

The awesome Brach's display-where you could fill up a bag fill of goodies for sensible price. Especially, sensible since Mom was buying the candy.
I should go to the Northern Store today before we leave Baker Lake to see what type of candies are available up here for the Inuit. They have a definite sweet tooth even though traditionally the only sugar they used to get came from berries they could pick on the tundra.

As it turns out it is a good thing we are delayed today as it gives me time to go get some more souvenirs from the local arts and craft place - the Jessie Oonark Centre (even if the prices are absolutely ridiculous as they are so high!)
