There are a lot of vintage candies, etc. still in small runs (don't read too much into that).

If you've ever watched a movie beyond its end (see how I'm tying it together), you know there are 13 million people on the project. Some of them are like us, and they search things out amongst the interwebs, as idle hands are the Devil's pancake or summat.

Give me a valid credit card # and that 3 digit code on the back (Thanks in advance to your mother-in-law) and I can have almost any antiquated confectionary on your front stoop within days.

I still enjoy the Clark's oldschool stick gum on occasion...not the licorice.

This stuff is pretty good. Not an easy find if you're just out salvaging during a zombie apocalypse, though:

I don't actually like gum and candy made with corn syrup or artificial sweeteners... especially chocolate bars and corn candy which I used to love. I wish some company would realize that much of the public wants real sugar in their gum and candy. Want to go into business? :)
Adams still has real sugar...think Chicklets

I chewed some Teaberry gum this morning! It's still available. Different packaging but the same taste!
...I know Bob, I've purchased some when I find it...but the availability of just walking in a store here and buying a pack is not in the cards...this and Clove gum were my Gma Denny's favorites....always kept packs in a kitchen cupboard, inside a ceramic mug she'd made...

...these, coz they'd vaporize your tongue...the current ones don't hold a candle...

The current Bonomo Turkish Taffy isn't anything like the original either :( I got so excited when they came back, I ordered a box of 24. The taste is different, the texture is different, they were so bad I couldn't even give them out at Halloween - I threw them away :(

For the Brits here - renaming Opal Fruits as Starburst, and Marathon bars as Snickers, WHY??? grrrrr. I used to love Cadburys Strollers & whole nut Yorkie (in the red wrapper), unfortunately no longer sold. I can even remember the song they used on the Strollers advert:
