I got these "for my SIL" and granddaughter for the baby shower this Saturday as he's a Giants fan (but we let him in the family anyway ;-D). I thought about teasing him that she'll be outgrowing them soon so that she can become a fan for a real team--the Patriots. Have decided not to, though, as that would just be mean and don't want to anger the sports gods to take it out on the Patriots.

How about one of these for bedtime? We need all the support we can get. (And no comments about nightmares, please ;)) :)

The kid will sh!t himself every time you put it on him.
A couple years ago, my youngest daughter needed a NFL jersey for ‘jersey day’ they were having in 8th grade. I showed her several Jets jerseys I had. She said she couldn’t wear any of them because everyone in class would laugh at her. She ended up getting her uncle to give her a Huston Oilers jersey. I said they weren't even a team anymore. She told me they were still better than the Jets. We get no respect. :(

An appropriate response for that insult. ;-D
One of these decades, or centuries, the Jets will win another Super Bowl, and then I’ll have the last laugh. I figure by that time scientists will have perfected a way to transplant my consciousness into an android... either that, or my great, great, great, great grandchildren will avenge me. :)

You must be so proud.

Actually I am. It has taken me years to get her to like football. She's recently moved out on her own and has no extra cash to afford a dish or cable bills so she comes over to watch football on Sundays now. And eat all my snacks, food, use the laundry.etc....etc.......Wait did I say this was a good thing?:D

As long as she doesn't touch the potato salad, right?
