...and that'll happen, about the same time the Browns draft a decent Quarterback.....One of these decades, or centuries, the Jets will win another Super Bowl, and then I’ll have the last laugh. I figure by that time scientists will have perfected a way to transplant my consciousness into an android... either that, or my great, great, great, great grandchildren will avenge me.
It'll be even longer for Jets, they already had two good picks - Sanchez and Smith.

Yup, they would have failed in NY. You forget we had Matt Simms (Phil's son) on the Jets for a number of years. I even got to see him play. It didn't work out.
I can't figure out the Browns as of late. They've had some really good talent come thru their organization but there just doesn't seem to be a consensus on what to do with said talent. Not sure if it's a coaching issue, because they've had some good coaches also. Been trying to figure out what's wrong in Cleveland for quite a while. The Lions seem to somewhat be coming out of their decades long funk but the Browns seem to keep slipping back...weird.
This weekend should be interesting. There's a huge bus load of whoop-ass coming to Fayetteville and it goes by the name of the Alabama Crimson Tide. Alabama is my surrogate SEC team to root for unless they're stomping the Hogs which is what I'm afraid might happen this weekend. We've played them close a few times but this year....I just don't know if we've got the moxie...

My son, not born but raised in Colorado, is a Broncos Nut. Here's his latest text to me:

I don't know if it's accurate, but to the more nominal fan (like me), it sure sounds nice.
