The Patriots were missing some key players. But the Dolphin defense and the pressure they put on New England’s receivers and quarterback seems to be the formula the rest of the teams need to adopt to take down the juggernaut of Brady and company. But the Pats will rebound this year... alas, they always do.

The Dolphins were missing some key players too. They haven't drafted them yet. ;-D

The Patriots did the impossible last night.

They made Jay Cutler look good. This was due to their re-adoption of the Holland Tunnel defensive scheme they ran at the beginning of the season.

Tom Terrific was Terrible Thomas last night. 2 interceptions. No 3rd down conversions. Questionable throws.

Stupid penalties.

I hope Gronk got an a** beating from his teammates. They could have used him last night. That one game suspension may have cost his team home field advantage in the playoffs.

Give credit to the Porpoises. They played well last night. They always seem to give the Pats a hard time.

On to Pittsburgh...

Typically, I hate the throwbacks, and whenever Green Bay wears theirs' and I pick them, they lose.

But the 'Phins... Those were the awesome jerseys!!;-D Right, fljoe0 ?

The dark teal jerseys are the best jerseys they have ever had. I think what made them extra special is that they didn't wear them very often. They always liked for the visiting teams to wear dark colors in the Miami sun so the Dolphins wore their white away uniforms most of the time at home. They would wear the dark teal during night games.

Do you still have your old helmet? ;-D
LOL. In high school my football helmet was a bit more advanced. They had recently fazed out helmets with the no-bars and we had one-bar face masks. A few years after high school I joined a local football team made up mostly of steel workers and coal miners. No pads or helmets. My first day of practice I ended up getting 7 stitches in the mouth. I never went back. :)

New York Jets quarterback Josh McCown broke his left hand and will be out for the remainder of the season. The QB responsibilities will be turned over to Bryce Petty who has been lackluster at best every time I’ve seen him play. For the remainder of the season the Jets will be changing their name to the Possums because they’ll play dead at home and get killed on the road. :(

Replay is not the Steelers friend...

Exciting game. Pats defense was atrocious except for when it really counted.

Gronk smash Steelers D!

Why Tomlin decided against the FG to tie is beyond me.

Big Ben actually had a good game against the Pats. First time he’s ever done that.

On to Buffalo.....

Pats did a Buffalo stance all over the Bills on Sunday. Got the benefit of another questionable call. That wasn’t the reason for the win, though.

Brady’s string of INTs is a bit troubling. However, full throttle Gronk makes that a bit more palatable. Jets in town this week. Should be interesting.
