If that loss to Kansas City is what the Patriots needed to get their game back like they did last night (okay, I confess we watched something else so I only know because I saw the results and read a report about it this morning ), then I feel a little better about it. We'll see if it will hold for the rest of the season but am reserving hopes for now.

Two questions I asked myself while I watched last night's Jets game:
  1. Why am I still watching this game?
  2. Why am I a Jets fan?

Oh, Jets...........
Tell me about it! The Jets game was the only NFL game on at 4pm with our cable provider. Just after the 4th quarter started they switched over the to 49ers/Chiefs game with under 4 minutes to go. When the game ended, did they go back to the Jets game? NO! I guess they figured anything was better than the Jets. Brings me back to the Kotite years. The only ray of sunshine for the rest of the season is thinking it’s the John Izdik & Rex Ryan's farewell tour. :(

Maybe they had her in for the Tuesday morning meeting last week instead of Belichick to give the whole team a dressing down. :D From what I read (again ), it sounds like they finally realized they're a team, not a couple of players trying to carry a team. :smile2:

For now--and after they've had a good win. Ask me again in a couple years or if they revert back to not playing like a team the rest of this season.
:) Hey, the Jets play the Patriots in two weeks. How about a little bet and since they’re playing in Gillette Stadium giving me about 31 points (if they were playing in the Meadowlands I’d ask for 34)?
