At my fathers funeral they had a 21 gun salute.
My young nephew was all upset. "Why are they shooting at pop-pop in Heaven?"

Let the other toddlers in the neighborhood show you how to use a drill.Today, from LilMan: "I'm too old for toddler toys but too young to use a drill, so what am I supposed to do?!"
That is a poser
That is the cutest ting ever. So sad that you had to live in a black and white world!I was teaching my granddaughter to cross stitch. She asked me how old I was when I started, so I showed her a picture of me with the first picture I embroidered.
The next day we were out for a walk and she said she was very sad for me, because when I was little there was no colour in the world, just black and white.
This is the picture I showed her.

I'm quoting this old post of mine because I recently found out my daughter sang it this way because of the Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs movie! I thought she was just singing it wrong but she heard it that way on the movie. My daughter, getting ready for school just now....

Sunshine, lollipops and bagels everyday.

I may have told this one before--if so, I apologize for the repeat:
When #1 son was about 5, he was telling me about this HILARIOUS movie he'd watched with his uncle (my brother) on a sleepover with Grandma. It was called Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (!), and it had the funniest character ever, named "Fat B**tard". He told me all about the character, and at the end of his story I gave him a gentle reprimand for language (hey, it wasn't his fault he'd watched a totally inappropriate movie. Stupid brother.): "That sounds funny, Josh, but you really shouldn't say that word. It's not nice."
He thought about it for a few seconds, and then said, "I'm sorry, mommy. I meant "CHUBBY B**tard."

You could've said, "I'll do better, I'll make a new tooth grow in its place!".When my youngest daughter was three, she and her older sister were roughhousing on the sofa. She accidentally kicked out one of her sister’s front teeth (luckily it was a baby tooth). My youngest came running to me with tears in her eyes asking if I could put it back in sissy’s mouth. I told her sorry, but that was unfortunately something not possible to do. It was a crushing moment of her childhood to discover that daddy couldn’t fix everything.
