Once again a well meant thanks to the SKMB members for prayers..successful visit to a cardiologist yesterday for some symptoms, and tests and exam didn't find area for concern there..but he believes my problems may stem from sleep apnea,so referral to a pulmonary group for possible sleep study. For those who haven't had problems in that area,it is hard to describe the sense of exhaustion, and edging into hopelessness, from being so tired all the time.Concentration,everything,suffers..Maybe that is why I enjoyed SK's Insomnia, and Ralph Roberts' battle with it,so much.Mr K hit the nail on the head with the physical descriptions of that problem..not looking forward to wearing one of the devices if that is the issue, but at this point anything to feel better would be a blessing..anyhow,just wanted to offer thanks, you are all a great group.. (((((SKMB))))) :grinning:

There is surgery available for this (it is much better than wearing that bizarre sleep apnea mask). You should see an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist mjs9153 - good luck!

Thanks Neesy and Flake,we'll have to see how it goes, all options will be considered..the cardio doc said that long term, ignoring the problem can cause organ damage, which I didn't know..of course dying in your sleep is always possible.. been trying to tough it out,but enough is enough.. :grinning:

I ask for prayers. My friend Sara have been sick for over a week now, she has been spending a lot of time in the hospital. I
talked to her this morning, she has finally start to recover and was to the stable today. But she is still very weak and very tired.
She has been laying in bed since last Tuesday. Her husband have helped her a lot. Yesterday she finally was on her feet and did a little
chores. Now Sara's and her siblings dad are very sick too. They don't know what's wrong with him. He has lose weight and only lying
in the bed. He has been to the hospital many times, but still they don't know what's wrong. I pray it's not cancer. They lost their
mother in cancer couple of years ago and it was a hard time for the whole family. It's the same family, who just lost their granny.
This family need our prayers. I'll pray for them every evening.

I've been sick for over a month now. Unfortunately, I don't believe in prayers for myself. Obviously it isn't working. Unless this is a super deity's idea of a joke.
I believe prayers work when the patient knows people are praying for her. In fact, that's been proven using a scientific method. They don't know WHY it works but they've proven via empirical evidence that it DOES work.
It's called the "mind-body connection" in trauma care. Patients who know they're being prayed for and patients who get more visitors improve from trauma faster than those who don't.
That's why I always visit patients with ungrateful or unavailable family members.

Prayers for the SKMB members relative.
Prayers for you mjs9153 too.
Thanks everyone for the prayers. My friend Sara is doing much better, though she is still tired. But I am sure she is getting better. I haven't
heard how her dad doing. But he was on some test in the hospital and it is not cancer, what a relief. Maybe he recover soon too.
Thank you once again. Prayers always helps.

Prayers for our Ka-Tet and their families.
