.....the "original" person is still there....the shell becomes hard and the behavior erratic and maddening at times, but the kernel of the true soul is underneath it all.....this to shall pass....my oldest son never saw combat-but still suffers from PTSD.....it is better, just takes a lot of time-space and patience....
