Just a thought I always seem to have when I watch these movie awards shows. I'm sure my fellow readers will agree with me on this topic. The writers of these movies don't get nearly enough credit.
They are the ones, especially in the case of original screenplays, that come up with these ideas, not the director or producer, etc. But the actors and director get the lion's share of the glory...guess that's life.
Decent show though. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler did well in hosting.

I watch the major award shows. I share a special running commentary with a friend on Oscar night and it's great fun. I look forward to it every year. My favorite dress last night was

Golden Globes 2014: Giuliana Rancic - Golden Globes 2014: red carpet arrivals I thought it was so pretty. Someone know how to snag a picture of that? It was red and and I have a thing for red.
I thought this young woman looked fabulous in red, DJlupita-nyongo-golden-globes-ralph-lauren-collection-h724.jpg ! Lupita Nyongo, from "12 Years a Slave" Haven't seen the movie yet, but I plan to :)
