You didn’t pass, but no worries. That probably just means you have the soul of an artist, or a scientist! You organize information in a variety of ways to take NO notice of irrelevant data, and you therefore grasp notions and concepts quickly and with good retention. Are we spot on? Let us know in a comment below.

Yeah, some of the words I never heard of.

What's those are called in english : () *?
German : doppel Punkt, ( Klammer auf / Klammer zu ) * Sternchen/Asterisk

We only had the full stop, question mark and comma. Maybe you put the answer as well in spoiler tags.:)

doppel Punkt = colon (the correct answer, I happened to know that one); * I'd go with asterisk in English as well, but I'm not sure; () = brackets

I'm not sure what you mean with full stop. Period?

Anyway, I thought this was ironic. He loves a word so much but can't even spell it???

"Retarted" is that like when you use the left overs from say a fruit tart to try and make another tart, so the fruit has been re-tarted?

Even before the texting and internet age, I'd had many years of practice reading fan mail so I'm fluent in Gobbledygook. :D Sad, but true that it was more prevalent than you would think coming from readers.

I'm actually very surprised to learn that. I'd think our favorite author's fans would be more literate than the average person, even more literate than the average reader.
