What's a "homonym"? As for Facebook (to which I assume you refer as "FB") I post objections there to the chronic violence against the English language routinely posted in memes. It's amazing that nearly all memes fail grammatically.

What is a homonym? When we asked one particular teacher a question (when I suspected she didn't know the answer) she would reply "Look it up." My son was so bad in his emails that I sent him a book on homonyms. And I suspect you do know what a homonym is.

I haven't commented on this thread for a while because I stopped following my sister-in-law on fb and ran out of cringe-worthy postings.

That is actually kind of heart warming - very poor spelling etc. but a nice sentiment.

One of them sort of stuck out (to me, anyway)

"Watch out for homonyms".

Being 20 years older than all the other girls and not politically correct my first thought was:

But we're not allowed to discriminate against those guys anymore!

There was a part after that where she uses "bin" in place of "been". Twice.

I'm in the 5% as well, and I'm not even American...

The outcome actually surprises me. I don't know how many questions have to be answered correctly and how well exactly I did, but I encountered quite a few words I hadn't even heard of. Maybe some lucky guesses?
