I'm beginning to think that the guy who said beans were the musical fruit had not discovered Brussels sprouts.....

....I suppose if they were deep fried in bacon grease and with some horseradish garnish...add three or four Killian's for throat lavage, I might choke some down....

I don't either. It's just too "bready" for me. And sometimes too dry, even KFC's.
I love brussel sprouts, they reckon they have heaps of anti-oxidants in them as well. Pumpkin as well. It's summer here and there's nothing better than some cold-cuts on a plate with beetroot, potatoe salad, tomato, lettuce, cheese, some beans( I like the three bean mix; navy beans etc) some Italian dressing on the lettuce, some mustard (Dijon, or american mustard, or mild English)
