Busy day of work and then trick or treating with the kids! My son is Ace Frehley from KISS and he wants me to be the Demon, Gene Simmons. We have to get his makeup going! It should be cool! My other son is a Star Wars Shock Trooper. It will be fun to see all the costumes! On a side note, I might have pink eye, so I might be staying home with the light off in my demon costume, while the kids go around with the Daddy! Boo!

Thanks! I hope not, too. I woke up with my eye crusty. It hurt last night. I get pink eye like every other year. It's so weird!
Very busy day here too. Have RJ coming here this morning, and we are all going to Brandon's. Once I get RJ settled over there, I will leave Ty and Ali there to help with RJ and Evan and I will come back to our house and load up a love seat and recliner for Brandon's house. Take it back over there, unload it. (I am not much for carrying furniture, so wish us luck!) Then stay and help with RJ until his mama picks him up for trick or treating.
Then I will have to come home again, get the kids ready, and when hubby gets home from work, head to our event center for trick or treating. They call it Treat Street, and admission is canned goods, as it also kicks off the holiday food drive. It is all dark and spooky (for kids
) and businesses in town set up and decorate booths, and give out candy. So we will walk through that, and then depending on time, maybe do some actual door to door trick or treating.

Children are grown, too rural for trick treaters. I'll be watching the SK marathon on TV. Left a few small pumpkins outside for the coons. Their Halloween treats. Have fun everyone.
Been working thru my "Halloween" blu ray collector's edition over the last few days. It's weird that the Michael Myers movies never seem to get old. John Carpenter definitely made a special movie. Almost forty three years old and the Halloween movies still are able to find that kid part of me that's scared of something hiding under the bed...lol. Everyone have a safe Halloween, watch out for zombies....

It's a rainy dreary day here, my favorite kind. The Ogre is in a lovely mood- his team lost, or he hates me - ah well, it's what makes him "him".
I took a 3 hour nap! Lots of house work I could do, but nah - it'll keep until I'm in the mood.
My kids are "over" the dressing up/trick or treating thing. It's kind of sad, kind of liberating. More rain is coming, so I'm not sure if we'll have trick or treaters. I'm prepared with the giant Costco bag of assorted chocolate, less about 20 Reeses cups that I've eaten. I suppose I should sweep the leaves off the path to the door so no one breaks an ankle walking to the door.
Spideyman I must find this Stephen King marathon you speak of. I might hunker down and watch it.

Hi Lin!
We are back from the hotel (just for the evening).
Then after feeding the cats and doing some other odd jobs, we will head back to the hotel later this evening. I have to be able to wash in the morning after getting up.
I really don't know how people survived before everyone got running water.
Oh yeah - and since it IS Halloween we will be waiting for the trick and treaters and handing out the candy at the front door!
