Coolidge Corner Theater in Brookline is playing Halloween II as part of it's Halloween movie marathon this year. They do 12 hours of horror films the weekend of Halloween. It will actually be on Halloween this year as it is on a Saturday. They announce the first two films and the rest are a surprise. This year's two announced films are Halloween II and Trick 'R Treat. They are also playing Halloween III earlier in the month. Leads me to think the original Halloween may be one of the other films.

Trick 'R Treat was awesome! I would love to see that again!

And yes, people are getting dumber.

That's awesome!

I picked up a few Reaction Figures of Jason, Freddy and Mr. Myers. They are made by Funko. They are pretty rad!

Those are the ones!

I also have some Pulp Fiction, Alien, and Taxi Driver ones. Yes, the SwiftDog is a geek dog :)

Hmmm. I was thinking you meant the ones that play the movie themes. Who does those? Anyway, I have a few movie maniacs figures. I don't keep mine in the packages though. Right now Pumpkin Head is in a sombrero and holding a shotgun. Xenomorph Alien is telling my future over a crystal ball. It doesn't look promising.

Mine aren't in the packages either.

I also have several McFarlane Movie Maniacs as well. I have the Orca action scene from Jaws, Leatherface from TCSM, a few Xenomorph Warriors, Billy The Kid, a Dog Soldier, Mr. Orange and Mr. White from Reservoir Dogs and Dracula. They are all in a cabinet with my die-cast car collection. Yes, I know I'm uber nerdy :)

...I have all sorts of esoteric knick-knacks scattered about, much to the chagrin of Mama GNT'S Country Primitive decorating scheme...

We are all nerds of one stripe or another. I have all the Planet of the Apes Mego and Ahi action figures from the 70's, GI Joe, Evel Knievel, Six Million Dollar Man, and some valuable Tomland monsters. I have trunk upon trunk of horror comics and pulps. I have early gumball rings and an interesting collection of antique bottles in cures, smelling salts, mineral waters, and poisons. I have often resisted purchasing the Aurora monster models of the 60's and early 70's that I once had all of because of room. Many things are touchstones of my youth but I haven't had to trade anything to Mr. Gaunt as of yet.

That's cool!

Lately I have had a bad case of G.A.S. (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) that has led to my guitar collection growing at an unhealthy rate...........

Awesome!

I have a bunch of collectibles, movie prop replicas, horror genre artwork, movie posters, and rock tour posters hanging around SwiftDog Manor. I get some varied and strange reactions from people who visit :)

That's not even taking the guitarsenal into account. There are hardshell cases lined up like soldiers in my bedroom. Let's not even discuss the amplifier closet........

The amp closet is not as impressive as it used to be. I sold a bunch of it. At one point I think there were 4 or 5 amps just stacked on top of each other in there.

It's funny, I never regretted trading and selling amplifiers except for the Orange Rockerverb 50 I was using at the end of my gigging days in Coaster Thieves. I'm kicking myself for selling that one :(

Guitars on the other hand have always been tough for me to trade or sell. I had two Les Pauls and a bass that I sold when my last band broke up. I think my latest round of acquisitions are an over-compensation for selling those pieces. I have since replaced the Les Pauls with two Charvel Les Paul copies (which I like better. Blasphemous, I know :)) plus a few other Charvel guitars. I think I have an addiction.......

I have a collection of shells which I keep scattered on the world's beaches. Perhaps you've seen it.
