Father’s Day:
Family will want me to have a good breakfast so I’ll have to run to Dunkin Donuts and get something for everyone.
Sunday will be my only day off this week. I need to build a section of the wall around the pool so the wife can fill in dirt and put down mulch.
My brother and his wife will be coming over for a visit in the afternoon, so I’ll have to clean the pool, run and get beverages and snacks, and entertain for short periods in-between all the work I have to do.
Later the wife will want us to have a BBQ for Father’s Day. So it’s clean the grill and cook the food as grilling is my responsibility. Burgers, hotdogs and chicken are easy, but I’ll probably have to add shish kebabs for a change of pace and prepping corn-on-the-cob for the grill takes time.
In the evening I’ll have to mow the property and do the trimming.
About 9 pm it will be dark and I can watch some TV and finally start to enjoy Father’s Day. I’ll probably just fall asleep.
