Leaves are turning here. We don't have the really beautiful oranges and reds though. Just yellow. But it is still a pretty sight to come up over the hill that overlooks the "old" part of town, where the trees are plentiful, especially when there are still a few green leaves mixed in here or there. :)

I like the fall/autumn, but have mixed feelings about it.

The air seems clearer, the colours are stunning, but... it means winter is on its way and that's not good. As someone who has bipolar disorder, cold weather is bad news for me. Take this as a prior warning that my posts might not make much sense between December and March! ;;D

I hope the coming season won't be too bad for you. Just come hang out with us, we'll make you laugh... or puke, hey, both are a release! :biggrin2:

will be sending sunshine vibes your way during those month. Florida usually has a lot of sun to spare.

To be honest, British winters are nothing compared to what some parts of the USA get.

How cold does it get in Florida?

Depends of the area- the further south you go, the warmer the winters. Gulf coast and east coast- having the waters, also add to warmth. My area will see 70F/21C to 80F/27C days, Nights are usually 40F/4C. Once the sun comes up, it heats quickly. There is always a few nights hard freeze 32F/0 or below. The lowest i've seen was 12F/ minus 11c. Damages plant life!

The southern parts rarely see a freeze and stay in 80's day and 60's night.

I think I need to move to Florida!
