IT has been a long winter...Happy First day of Spring. I can almost see the tulips and daffodils a blooming. (At least in my mind)

Are y'all getting more snow today? That's just depressing.
They are calling for snow "showers" today and tomorrow. I guess the bulk of the snow from this latest storm is going to slide just south of us. The most depressing part is the temperature. It's 13F out with a forecast high of 35 today. Yippee........

8" of snow on the way today. Yipee!
I no longer believe in the illusion of spring......
Here too - just some light showers, soggy yard and I have to wipe the dogs feet every time they go out - they like to chase the squirrels and birds out of the yard and they get all muddy .
Bah, humbug. I hate spring. But I love bees, and there are literally hundreds of them swarming around my holly bushes right now. So happy!

Haha! Villanova was one of a few picks that I actually got right..... First three games yesterday completely busted my bracket, and maybe that of a friend or two who trusted someone like me to help them....
Only thing that matters to me anyway is the Tar Heels.....
Did anyone catch the eclipse? I think that was this morning? Or soon? And some sort of...rare celestial occurrence, too...ummm. I forget. Maybe moon's closet point? I think there were/are three things happening.
The solar eclipse could be seen in northern Europe and the super moon wasn't visible because the moon is in its new phase, but had more of an effect on the oceans than normal. The third thing was the spring equinox.
Mother Nature is wearing a skirt crossing her legs. She shows a little knee, gets us all exited and then suddenly pulls it back down.
