Other than the short stories, Shawshank Redemption, The Stand and The Green Mile are my favorites. Though I have to admit sometimes I like the movie better than book.

In this case Shawshank Redemption, mostly Morgan Freeman and what he brought to the film

Does anyone know if the script of Shawshank Redemption was ever made into a book?

....not to my knowledge...I have a copy of the screenplay, and per Frank's own words-he added very little and only took away and re-ordered some scenes that were great in the novella, but wouldn't play well on the screen....

Welcome. The Stand is also one of my favorites. I see no sense of making a book from the screenplay of Shawshank, unless Mr. King wrote it himself. The screenplay you can find online.
