Hey everybody. I have been a Stephen King fan since I first read The Shining when I was 12. Is that appropriate reading material for a 12 year old? I don't know. It was on my dad's bookshelf and the mirror cover on the paperback fascinated me...and the main character was a kid with a dysfunctional family (which I related to somewhat). I can't say I completely understood the book at that age, but have gone back and read it a few times since then. In any event, I went on to get an degree in English Literature and work full time in local libraries... Thanks to Stephen King!

Hi zombimuzik - Welcome to the SKMB - I just recently got that same book - with the shiny mirror-like cover!

Take care and enjoy posting here!
