@pegasus216 I'm so glad to see you've been up and about a bit. Means you're gaining strength - don't party too hard just yet . Much love to you!

...that's what we're supposed to do as advocates for our patients...I've stopped bowing down to doctor's as well...that happened years ago, when I realized that many don't have anymore-and sometimes less idea of what the hell's going on than I do...glad to hear of the progress my girl-keep it up!!!...I have stayed out of bed just about all morning today, so that's good.
My daughter called the doctor that did my surgery, and told them we couldn't get an answer from the other doctor. Well, whatever nurse Karen talked to got a hold of that doctor's nurse, and laid her out! So my drug store will be calling today with the refill of my antibiotics. I'd like to meet that nurse! She didn't take any BS off that other nurse!
Stay in touch with yer docs. I imagine they've told you that yer energy and strength will increase over time. I'm finding in some ways what I've had to go through is very inconvenient and that I have to be patient, especially where my strength is taking long a time returning. I'm still unable to get comfy in bed because I can't be on either side, just on my back because strength in my hip is taking a long time to return. I've never been a back sleeper, so I'm not sleeping well. Now if I could only get my strength back, I'd feel better.
Healing take time, Mary. Get the rest you need and don't overdo or push yourself. Whatever you think "has to be done" can wait. Eat well, fluids, meds and only positives thoughts. The body feels those vibes. Think yourself healed and with strength. That which is manifested is before you.Now if I could only get my strength back, I'd feel better.
Wonderful news Mary! Good Gan! A pelvic ABYSS - that sounds terrifying!I just got back from the surgeon. They took out the tube, and I just have a bandage on it now. It was a pelvic abyss, not a cyst as I was told in the hospital.
I asked if this could come back, and he told me that it shouldn't. I sure hope he's right.
I have to lay on my tummy or my left side for a few days so it will still drain from the hole there.
Karen watched them take out the staples, and the tube, and she said it was gross. I didn't really feel any of it thank goodness.
Hope you're feeling good today Frank! Have some cheese and a Costco hotdog and it'll be OK. Are the hallucinations gone?Stay in touch with yer docs. I'm sure our strength will return, Mary, it's just gonna take longer than what's convenient.
