((((Mary)))) I am glad you are rid of the tube! Be grateful you couldn't feel it when they took it out. I had one after my gall bladder surgery and it was not a very pleasant sensation, having it pulled out.

I send hugs and prayers and positive, healing vibes. Rest and let your body heal. You've been through a lot! It will take some time. But you'll get there!

Mary- doctors are your best friends right now. I know it's not fun seeing them, but soon they will be a thing of your past and life will be back to normal. Hang in there!!!

((Frank)) I know what you mean about sleeping on your back. Had similar issues with knee surgery involving a full cast on my leg. I made a compromise by sleeping on a couch, so I was on my back but my side was pressed up against the couch back. Many pillows were involved!

Thanks guys. I don't do anything around the house. My daughter won't let me.
Frank, I know the feeling well of not being able to get comfortable. I can't sleep on my back either. I feel like I can't breathe right on my back. I can't sleep on my stomach either like the doctor wants me to. I do get on my left side as far as I can to get it to drain. He said that in a few days it should stop draining.
I go back to him in 4 weeks, then I go to the other surgeon that did the robotic surgery, then I go to my family doctor. Man, am I tired of going to doctors.

...but just think of all the S & H Green Stamps you'll collect for the visits, and the wonderful things you can buy...
