Personally, I did not much care for hickies.

I'm 172 years old.Ha! I MAY be biased... in my generation, hickies on the males who had them were revered. Yet, the females (girlfriends) whom bestowed said hickies were seen as...loose...wanton...

(BTW- I'm with Ms. Agin- sometimes things get soooo heated and passionate...can't help but bite. And scratch!!)

What man has been so lucky and proficient to have scratches on his back after making love?

(I have strep throat and on medication. I am sleep deprived and I refuse to be accountable to my posts. There!)

I think they are gross to look at and tacky as hell and scream of trailer park trash. When I saw my then teenage son with one I gave him the advice my stepmother gave me. "If you are going to get one of those things get it somewhere no one can see it and then you won't have to wear a turtleneck in the middle of summer!"
