I've only ever had one and instantly finished with the boy that gave it me because I've always hated them and think they look really unsightly. Got two teenage boys who seem to keep appearing home with them, usually when they have somewhere important to go. Trying to make them understand that while they do not do any harm physically they can create a certain impression when other people see them. But them being teenagers of course they know best.
Oh man @Liselle - two teenage boys in the house? Bless you! I suppose it would be a bad idea to suggest they ask for their hickies to be placed where they can't be seen. That might be a bit suggestive, but the thought of saying that makes me laugh.
Actually I have said exactly that....well to the older one anyway. Told him if you do have to get them just have them where I can't see them. Seems to be working so far.

Personally, I did not much care for hickies.
I'm 172 years old.Ha! I MAY be biased... in my generation, hickies on the males who had them were revered. Yet, the females (girlfriends) whom bestowed said hickies were seen as...loose...wanton...
(BTW- I'm with Ms. Agin- sometimes things get soooo heated and passionate...can't help but bite. And scratch!!)
What man has been so lucky and proficient to have scratches on his back after making love?
(I have strep throat and on medication. I am sleep deprived and I refuse to be accountable to my posts. There!)
