After already posting 3 threads I suppose I should introduce myself. Hello! I'm between coasts in Omaha NE but I have lived in New Jersey and Philadelphia but my hometown is really Des Moines IA.
The Avatar is of the true head of the household "CC" our 4 year old Pomeranian. He's mommie's Dr. Jekyll and daddies Mr. Hyde. We have no idea what the breeder had in mind in naming him "CC" but we call him "Chubby Checker". He has that sort of physique.
My 1st reading crush was more in the area of Sci-Fi and Fantasy which included all the greats but I especially found kindred spirits in Ray Bradbury, Theodore Sturgeon and Fritz Leiber.
I enjoyed dog training for many years and showed in obedience mostly with Shetland Sheepdogs.
Other interests include astronomy, rooting for the Steelers with my wife (who's orginally from Pittsburgh) and fishing. Glad to be aboard!
