I have always feared having to have a wound flushed out - and he had to have it done. First it was soaked in betadine. Then they flushed it - eek. Yuck. It's swollen and sore. But he'll be fine. Thanks for the well wishes.

He'll be OK - drill bit just grazed the bone - so that was a relief- it's a big deal if the bone gets infected. He got a tetanus shot, some antibiotics and a splint.
