I cook mine in one of those Reynolds oven bags. Turns out really juicy every time, and doesn't take as long in the oven.

I do not know how you American folks can stand two turkey days so close together. Our Thanksgiving is in October. I did not even have a turkey...I had rib roast.
This American doesn't.
I don't even like turkey....At Thanksgiving, I always make my meal from the various side dishes and desserts.
At Christmas, we always have steak.
I love turkey!

I like all the side dishes too - the mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, dressing, cranberry sauce - mmm - this is making me crave a big sit down dinner now!

We took staropeace's advice and cooked our turkey upside down...but I tweaked the recipe a bit and did it upside down and backwards? Like you cut crown molding? Yummy.

Did you use a Miter Saw to carve it as well?
Man! I knew I was missing out on something...trying to stab it w/that two-pronged fork and cut it w/a knife. Next year!
