A friend of mine said they are using an infrared fryer to cook it without oil....Isn't that the same as a tanning bed?

I have cooked so many bloody turkeys while working as a chef during the Christmas party season that I am no longer fond of it. I just bast the bird in it's own juices. If you want a lovely moist white meat, cook the bird breast side down. The juices flow down and settle there.
