It's all-right. They said I have to stay off it for a week or two. I thought my car needed too be taught a lesson, but it was the other way round. I couldn't start the car, so I call the roadside guys. I get the car towed back home, and the next day I get a new battery put in. Good. Everything's going good, then a week later I go to start it and it's dead. So I kicked it. The car's going good now. I've had a broken wrist before, and that hurt heaps more than this. This is just annoying.

If the battery is dead that soon, and assuming it had a full charge when installed, maybe something is draining the battery, or the charging system is not up to par. I'd have a good shop check it over, so you don't get stranded again. You only have so many toes...
Last week, I had to stop in a hurry for a fire engine that pulled out. I blew a brake line and the pedal went all the way to the floor. The other half of the master cylinder had just enough fluid to stop the truck. That was interesting.
