Moderator - sending all the spare sunshine from Fl. Might be chilly and frosty here- but lots of sunshine and mid 70's. Just be safe and very careful.

Work at home day for us because the Bangor schools are closed and my doctor's office closed, too, so don't have to go out for that. Unfortunately, hadn't put the snow tires on yet as it doesn't usually snow this much this early and I think we can't until November 1st anyway. Didn't even occur to me to do that on Saturday.Moderator - sending all the spare sunshine from Fl. Might be chilly and frosty here- but lots of sunshine and mid 70's. Just be safe and very careful.
I probably shouldn't tell you that most of the woolly worms are mostly black, with only a small band of brown in the middle......or that there were 22 fogs in August.....or.......

Looks like southern Maine and even up toward Augusta only got a dusting of snow. I guess that makes up for a few of those times when you folks got snow but we didn't. I'm hearing that some parts of Bangor lost power yesterday afternoon and still don't have it back. Don't know if that's the reason for schools closing as I'd thought for sure they'd be open today.Don't they have snowplows in Bangor?
We only got a flurry....
We did lose power though from the wind...........
I hear ya! We had a bunch of trick or treaters (some as early as 5:30 p.m. or so) then they came in little bunches intermittently. It was quite cold here so now we are also left with boxes of Twizzlers, Fuzzy Peaches, Sour Patch Kids, not to mention all those teeny chocolate bars!It was rainy and cold on Halloween night, so only 8 trick and or treaters showed up. Damn! What do we do with all the leftover goodies???
Oh and there was icing sugar like dusting of snow all over everything Saturday morning.
Wow! (that sounds awful!) Try to stay warm MarshaOfficial snowfall for Bangor was 14.5". A lot of people without power but we lucked out. No internet service so have to use my iPad which will make moderating slow but not impossible. Waaaaay too early for this crap.
Don't make me come down there and hurt you.I went 3 days without the AC kicking on. Woo-hoo.

Doesn't that feel great! Unfortunately, I had to run the heater last night. Live in a cold pocket area, so was 33F and frost before the sun came up. Only heard the heater run once or twice. 40's tonight.
That was cute! Thanks redman - looks like that heavy wet stuff that falls off the trees with a big 'plop' sound (hopefully not down the back of one's neck)They showed Steve's house on the ABC news Facebook page. 2nd video down ABC News Weather | Facebook
