Here Fall is coming..... Temps dropping.... 8-10 C during the day and about 0 nights. But the weather is nice. Mostly sunny with a cloudy day or two thrown in for variation. Trees shifting. Some leafs has fallen but most are still on the tress in all colours from green-red-orange-yellow-brown. If we could only get a blue leaf the palette would be complete. Not much rain yet so it is good weather for october.

We have grapes in our back yard (the above picture is of blueberries).

Sounds like your weather is quite similar to ours here in Winnipeg Kurben
What latitude are you at (would you know?)

49.8994° N, 97.1392° W = Winnipeg Manitoba

Wow! 10 degrees further North than us - it must get darn cold there.
No we have the golf stream that brings warmth. Winter temps are at their lowest in January Between 10-15 below 0 C are usual for a while. (i think that is between 15 and 5 F) It can get colder, down to - 20 with bad luck, but usually that as far as it go. That is day temps. Last winter was really mild. Only about -5 C in january. Stockholm is siyuated at the coast which also makes it milder than if a city is situated inland. Thats why the climate is bearable in spite of being so far north.

Lucky you! The winter can get very very cold here due to the flatness of the land and the prairie winds that blow so hard.

December 2013/January 2014 was the coldest one on record in a long time. I was lucky that I got some time off work (coincidentally) just around that time. :snowman::onthego:

So it's not b.s when I watch ice Road truckers and it has the temperature on the screen saying -30 and -40? And I was just going to moan about it being 6C (although the clear skies give it a real feel of 4C).

Isch. No it never gets down to - 30 C, gott sei dank, Don't know how i survive. Thank you Golfstream and thank you cioastweather´. If it werent for these phenomena we probably had winters around - 40 C and then i had to emigrate.

No - it is not b.s. - although I have never watched a full episode of ice Road truckers. I do know that some of the roads in Northern Manitoba can be quite treacherous. It is pretty wild up there.

Where Andy is (Baker Lake, Nunavut) they can only fly in - no roads.

It's a beautiful clear 27 degrees Celsius and not much wind. Quite humid. Had a large mug of flat white coffee and a slice of carrot cake sitting outside at the coffee shop about 30 minutes ago.
