This happened just off my street and Ada Boulevard...a house burned last night just two houses from the Magrath Mansion...yikes. We rent our home from the Fire Marshal. He was here for a while last night and told me they were going mad. Guess things got even madder. It is almost impossible in this weather for fire crews. God bless them.

Here's been cold today -10C/13F would be wonderful winter weather, if it were not so cold.

The big lake doesn't look frozen...but tis bitter cold & I am sick at heart...cleaned the deck off, about 18" of fluff on top of 6" of frozen matt...can't allow snow to accumulate on things...decks, roofs...driveways, roads...so forth so on, not when the area gets about 200"+ a year...that's me in the upper third of the pic, that finger of land pointing somewhat to the right.

Still in middle of ice storm 2013 here. Everything pretty much shut down. Roads suck. About 1.25" of ice on the roads. Temperature hasn't went above freezing since last Thursday. Our area is woefully unprepared for this type of weather.
