Of course, the resulting flooding from melting that much snow would create its own problems. No neighbors with a snowplow or bucket loader?
I sure thought about it... But it was a matter of principle (and I didn’t want to hear the wife bitchin’ about why did you pay for a snowblower and then go and call someone with a plow to have to do it it for you. Of course she didn’t even venture outside the entire weekend :)).

Did she at least help you with the Bengay?

DiO'Bolic - is the mailbox still standing? Did the birds like the food blocks?
The mailbox was still standing this morning, but the road is hard-packed snow and icy. We'll see when I get home. Colorful songbirds liked the Berry Blast, and the ugly birds liked the Bird's Blend. The Junco's were pretty nasty to other birds. :)

We may have flooding. The Weather report calls for much rain. This is Alberta in the winter. Has Mother Nature gone off her head?
Some might say it is due to all the oil sands mining - not me, though! I would not say that. I thought we were going to have a mild winter due to the old "El Nino" effect but is was dang cold last week - should be warming up this weekend, just in time to melt all the sculptures down at the Ice Park :icon_eek::)
