I wish I had that option - apparently there are some American Medical Transcription companies who will hire people to work from home, but I hear that pay is low.

Sort of blustery day out there today - wind is blowing the light powdery snow around. Probably have 2 to 3 inches of fresh stuff on the ground.

Under a Winter Weather Advisory from 4 PM today until 7 PM tomorrow so might be a work-at-home day tomorrow. We got about 12" of snow on Friday after they'd predicted 4-8". That's what they have in the Advisory now so hoping it's not another we said that, but it's really 12" again. 
School was canceled this morning. Not a snowflake in the sky. Apparently, the forecast is for one to two inches today, so they decided to call the whole thing off.......
I couldn't believe they hadn't closed them last Friday because I don't think they've used any "snow days" yet this school year. The only thing I can think of is that it wasn't supposed to come in until much later in the day than it did and they probably thought school would be done before the snow affected anyone. They don't usually like to close school early because it could cause problems for after school day care if the parent doesn't have other arrangements in place.

Got an email at 5:15am saying only essential staff had to be on site and everyone else had to log in from home. Glad to know I'm not "essential", I guess.....
Stay safe from all of the storms/snow. We are wet and cold at 38F. It can't decide whether it wants to rain or snow here. We've only used up one or two snow days this year..........Feel free to send some snow this way if you need to! Big hugs and vibes of safety being sent to you all!
