Behind you
Angry today for 2 reasons.

1.

Mr. Coffee finally died due to injuries of the fallen cabinet. I was pouring water in as it leaked out.
had to go out and get a new one this morning. I was one of the Wal-Mart people, grumbling and hair askew.

2.

I was supposed to have a phone interview for the navy yard job at 4 yesterday. 4:00 came and went without a call. I am sitting there nervous waiting with all of my notes about how great I am spread all around me.

I looked at the email again and it said 4 PST! ack! No matter - I was here and had no missed calls.

I emailed him back to see if I should reschedule.

Aha - he must be a universal donor - I am - I've got the blood type that all other blood types can take (0, I think). The good thing about regular donations is they do a free cholesterol screen every few times I go, so I get to monitor that for free. I don't mind giving blood, it's just the phone calls that aggravate me.
Me too - I'm O positive so they call me quite a bit - Canadian Blood Services - I think I am up to around 60 donations by now :)

I did not see the actual photo of the man after or during (thank god) I just saw how they set it all up and him in the cell.

How very afraid he must have been. How bloody could they be that heartless?

They were standing way the hell back with a trail of rags/towels or something to light at the other end.

I heard about that but I didn't see it...

Burning someone alive? Beheading people and taking videos of it? - this is why people are so worried now - they are trying to bring terrorism up close and right into our homes.

I just cannot understand what is wrong with their minds to do such unspeakable things to other human beings.

Ouch! How did you do that? (I hope it heals up quickly.)

No particular method. I was working, and towards the end I noticed my foot started to hurt. Then when I was off work out for a drink with a friend, it started to hurt so bad I had to take my boot off. That was the tipping point. It started to swell and I was pained. I guess it just broke due to stress on it. Wouldn't be the first time.

There are so many bones in your foot, so I hope it heals fast! Maybe get checked to see what your calcium level is? That is unusual in someone so young (((Van Blaricum)))

They didn't have photo and video in the 17th and 18th centuries and drawings are not the same.

That's it - I know many atrocities have been committed in the past - they just weren't right in our faces.

(My husband told me about this - lately I prefer to not even watch the news but he was home from up North and likes to watch the news). yuk

Update: Sometimes Unhappy Stories can have Happy Endings.

My toe turned out to be " not broken," thank goodness. When the swelling went down somewhat, I was able to ascertain that it was in fact dislocated. I put it back in place myself with a little painful manipulation and some Ibuprofin. Today it is almost as good as new. Whew.
