I Am Happy Today Because . . .

I am happy today because I had a follow up appointment with my doctor yesterday, and he is really pleased with the way I've responded to my treatment. I don't need any more at this point, and my next follow up is not until the end of February, 2014! Work is going better and I really feel energetic and well today.

I am very, very happy today! I guess I have never been so happy in my life! I went to the concert of my favorite singer. I've been listening to her music for 10 years. Actually, this was my second concert, but this one was much better than the previous one as we had a chance to personally talk to her... That means a lot to me, as this is the person who changed my life...maybe, even saved it, as in the most difficult moments I am always listening to music. This is more that just music for me, more like a part of my heart... I am so happy I met her in person! This was the greatest day ever!

Neesy, I'm just so grateful every day. I am still taking things one day at a time and if the doctor does recommend more treatments, even if it's preventative, I will do so. I am happy today, because I got a new job. I have been unemployed since July, and this really took a big weight off my heart.
I am happy today as I am not out shopping. And getting lots caught up around the house.
I'm happy today as I didn't have to work and I'm not out shopping and I'm going to start working on a quilt here in a minute. First, I am going to venture out to get my daily tea, but I know back roads to my tea dealer.
