What a beautiful dog.
I'm happy, but the lack of sunshine makes me feel despondent and, over all, have low energy. I've said many times that I love winter, and I do, but as I approach 40 I can feel the necessity for sun and outdoor activity. I wouldn't necessarily say I'm bi-polar. Sorry, this isn't the most interesting anecdote...not even an anecdote, really. 
Please tell me that your "current project" isn't human or animal...?

I'm happy to have my Internet back up and running.
Yesterday afternoon it just suddenly stopped. (Tv as well, as both are FIBE.) so I called the company tech support. The guy had me unplug my modem. That didn't help. Then he had me push the reset button. That didn 'to help either time. So, he said he would send someone out around 5.
Around 6 I called to find out when he would be getting here. My teen needs the Internet to hand in his culminating activity for school.
I was told the technician had been called off because they discovered the problem was not within my home. AND it would take 24-48 hours to repair. By 3 they called off the tech....but nobody called me. So that means I sat waiting for nothing. But worse, my son could have been trying to find someone with a different Internet company so he could do his homework. He finally did find someone, but because of how late it started, he didn't get to bed until after midnight.

This morning, it was kind of up, but kept sending me to a page that said it was my Internet carrier and was asking for my personal data. (That's not gonna happen.) instead I called the company, yet again, and was told that yes, it actually was their page. But, it wouldn't have actually helped me anyway. She had to walk me through typing in loads of id and password info that users do not have.
And now I'm up and running.

I'm happy today because Larry is coming over tomorrow night, and staying until Sunday. I didn't want him alone in case we get all that snow, and we wouldn't be able to go anywhere. That is going to seem strange, but I'm excited!

Any you guys ever have one of those dreams where you see somebody wandering dangerously close to the edge of a cliff ... or about to have a piano fall on their head ... or getting ready to step into an open manhole, or something like that? And you try to call out to warn them, but you get that dream laryngitis and you can't? So you have to watch while whatever the bad thing is unfolds right in front of you, and you're powerless to prevent it?

Wow - sounds like "the corner office" - I am happy for you!I am happy today because I have finally moved to my new work area.
Gotta say - It's sweet. Back in the corner, no one can see my screen. Glass block windows to the side and back of me, and a big ole desk and drawing board. I can see everything, but no one can really see me.

He texted me after school yesterday to say he was staying to play piano for a friend. Apparently, this friend has difficulty with the technical part of vocals and the teacher forced him to pair up with someone who refused to do ANYTHING for the activity. So, my son decided to help him. He expects no credit at all (from the teacher). He stayed 3 hours last night, then went in almost 2 hours early today. Just to help someone.
And it makes me happy that that's the kind of son I raised.

Love and green lights............ While reading the Tao Te Ching, a book of 81 concepts for life, I came across a modern day translation by Dr Wayne Dyer. His favorite saying is: I send you love and all green lights. That phrase caught me in a special way.
The love part is basic, but within the Tao is has greater meaning. Love is the desire to give and not look for reward from anyone. When we chose love we are taken to higher consciousness, both inner and upward. Life becomes harmonious and free from strain.
The green lights is a comparison to ones life path and a traffic light. Picture traveling down a busy highway and needing to stop at each red light. Your travel is not smooth and free flowing. However, if you experience only ( all) green lights, your travel is clear sailing. On your journey of life, if you experience all green lights, your path is smooth and free. To wish one no harm, nothing to stop them in their journey.
This is why I wish you love and green lights. A life's journey filled with love and a smooth path to travel.
