What a talent he is. Yes, saw them, more than once.

Singing, playing the bass guitar, keyboards. and working pedals all at the same time And smiling the other band members. They were having fun. You could really tell that they liked each other.

And he is just so damn witchy looking!

Me too. I got sick of the constant whining.
George, to me anyway, is the atypical New Yorker- loud, whiny, egocentric and rude. Kramer is just 'off, ya know? He scares me. Jerry and Elaine are the only 'normal' people on that show. I have watched it when there is nothing else on, but with all of the channels that we have at our disposal I usually don't watch Seinfeld.

He's one I would LOVE to see in concert! I had a chance to go to a show on his 1999 tour--free ticket with a friend--but my parents wouldn't let me go. A few years later he wanted to play at the event center at our local college, because it was all purple (lol). I got all excited, saved my pennies...and then the college declined because they decided his music didn't meet 'community standards'. SIGH.
You simply haven't lived until you've seen Prince live. Amazing bands (not the one with the three girls tho- I just don't get that one), amazing singing, amazing instrument playing (he can play them all- guitar, drums, keyboards).

People that just stand on escalators. It's not an elevator, lol.
Bicyclists that want to cycle on main roads in heavy traffic.
Olive oil
Snuggies
People that take sports too seriously. Little league, especially.
Comb overs...just shave it, trust me, it'll look much better.
The word 'amazing' used for everything. (Hollywood is bad about this.) I feel like saying, "Really? That toast is amazing? How does it amaze you? Do tell."
People like me that are too opinionated, ha ha.

Always stand on escalators and moving sidewalks. Although, the only time I have been on a moving sidewalk was at Heathrow Airport and Toronto Airport. I was tired of walking, I like just standing there, moving along and looking around. :)

Now here's a thing I really don't get.

I'm an avid cyclist and fortunate to live in a place where bike paths are a priority. Even so, you'll often see cyclists insisting upon riding in traffic even in areas where paths are available. These are usually the guys all dressed up like they're in the Tour de France. I wouldn't have a problem with this, generally, except that many cyclists do not strictly follow the traffic laws. That's dangerous in itself, and it also makes drivers leery around cyclists -- even those who do obey traffic laws -- because they're never sure what the crazy bicycle guy might do.

So, what happens is you get drivers holding up traffic and annoying everybody because they feel they have to cede the right-of-way to cyclists all the time, because they don't want to kill anybody ... or maybe they do want to kill somebody, but their better judgment prevails. In any case, the combination of people who don't know how to drive and cyclists who feel they belong in traffic but don't necessarily want to follow the actual rules -- and all of these people talking on the phone while everything is happening -- well ... you know ... it's a bad mix.

You know ... the more I think about it ... the world would be a much better place if it wasn't for all the damn people.

The 21st Century. What the hey? Put me back on ice. Reset the Way Back machine, Mr. Peabody. I wanna smoke Lucky Strikes at Burger Chef and listen to some Pink Floyd. I wanna drink bathtub hooch from some crazy flapper chick's slipper. I wanna shamble around nineteenth century France, drinking Absinthe and panting whores (like Toulouse Lautrec, only taller). This century...bleh. Makes me wanna PLOTZ.

I was listening to this dude on the radio how he's started smoking 'e-cigs' and he puts these scents or oils like lavender and things and he says it good. The problem with cigarettes today is that apart from the tobacco they put heaps of other stuff which is bad. My new year's resolution is going on the Champix and quiting smoking buy July. With regards to bike riders on the road, I don't understand how they can get any enjoyment riding in peak hour traffic. On the weekend we get the Lycra brigades going up the highways, twenty strong which is good so they can look out for one another. I like this thread; it's like a talk-back radio show. Speak your mind, what's on your mind.

Twitter-I don't tweet and don't understand the importance.

I have a Twitter account, unused except for once every few months. It strikes me as another outlet for the people on Facebook who post that they took their dog for a walk or just watched a TV show or saw squirrels humping in the park. I mean, not the exclusive use for Twitter, but it has that flavor.

I'm not one of those people. Now, if I were in the type of business to build up a loyal, steady following based on persona or personality, I might use it more. But I'm not.

I think most people read more tweets then tweeting themself. I sometimes like reading tweets about tv shows while watching them it's like watching tv with family sometimes.
Joe Hill and Owen King were tweeting so much that I had to unfollow both of them it have been just to much. But I like to read SK tweets because I like him. It's like you get a message from a friend. :)

As far as I'm concerned, the era of good music began with Beethoven and ended with Britany Spears. There's been a handful of decent bands since she threw bubblegum all over the music scene, but for the most part music these days is so much meaningless noise.

And speaking of those conveyor belts at the airport; I discovered how wonderful they are while I was in the Denver airport. I was seven months pregnant, traveling alone. Those moving floors saved my feet and back.

And I really don't get the big deal about being politically correct. Being polite and respectful, sure. But being told that we cannot speak our minds because no one has the cajones to handle the truth anymore is maddening. Where did our sense of humor go? When did we as a nation stop knowing how to laugh at ourselves? And we've totally forgotten the art of standing up for ourselves. Instead we get our panties in a twist because somebody hurt our feeweeings. We've become a sue-happy, look-out-for-number-one, rude, crude nation of pansies.

Maybe I should move to Germany?

I honestly didn't realize Prince was that good of a guitar player. I thought he just sort of dabbled. That was brilliant. And he was very engaged with everyone. George's son looks so much like him doesn't he?

I love this performance. Prince is very underrated for his guitar skills. I saw him in concert 2 years ago and he blew me away. He is a great songwriter, guitarist, and overall performer. I think some people cannot overlook his eccentricities and don't realize that he is a valued musician.

I think Dhani is the spitting image of his father. I have a huge crush on him!
