I have a job, but I might not have a car tomorrow!!

Hello everyone!!

Will let you all know that I crashed my car into another car on Friday, my fault. I was looking at the side for just a second and back at the road and then it was too late. I
brake but realize that I gonna hit into this other car. The other car just got small
damages that they can fix from my insurance of course since it was my fault. But my
car is a total mess. The front bumper is broken, left lamp is broken, the bonnet is broken the whole front side of my car is broken and they still don't know if there is more damages inside the bonnet, because they haven't study it closely yet, we are waiting and see what insurance company say now, because they pay for it. Tomorrow they decide if they fix my car or redeem it. I hope they fix it so I get it back, if they redeem it, I am without a car tomorrow. No one was hurt, not me or this other guy I drove into so maybe we should be happy for that. And this other guy wasn't too angry that I drove into his car, he even drove me to work with his car after the accident. And we had a pretty good conversation when we was waiting for the tow truck to come and pick up my car.

At least I have a job now, that I can be happy for.

I have a exciting life, there is always something going on....

Will let you all know how this sad story with my car is going to end.

Jojo87: Commiserations on the car, congratulations on the job. On balance, the job is more of a gain than the car is a loss. Yeah, the crash and repair costs are a pain in the backside, but no one was actually hurt, you've hopefully learnt something so there won't be a next time, and you're still up in the game.

Thank you all for the good thoughts. Yes I learned a lesson and will focus on the driving and not look around too much.
And good news they are going to repair the car. And I get it back by end of next week or week after that.

...great news!, and with as kind and sweet as you are-the residents will love you.....it can be unpleasant work at times, but bringing a smile to someone there-makes the miserable and mundane disappear....

All the best for your new job, try to be more careful because you were lucky this time. When you have a dipweed as a coworker or your boss is a dipweed your life can become hell on earth. Especially if your boss is one of those prickly type people who flare up without a moment's notice. Also, if you have a passive-aggressive or borderline personality disorder person working where you work can make it bad.
