I bought myself a rubik's cube last Christmas in the sales and spent the summer school holidays teaching myself how to do it. (okay, I had to get a little help from Google the first couple of solvesI should have thought if this. I just popped out the cubes, and put them back in.
) Now that I know the algorithms, it's so easy! I am completely addicted to my cube and it goes everywhere with me. I get my kids to mess it up for me when we're driving and then while I'm waiting for them in the car between jobs in town, I solve my cube!I need to get a harder one now...

My daughter's 5th grade math teacher taught them how to do the original cube. They had a team go and compete against other schools. I never learned it. I'm like Sunny and can do the patterns.
