yes, they are called conversations. Go to the person's avatar, click on it and it should take you to a screen where you can start a conversation privately with that member.So, we won't be able to PM other members...

We now have "Conversations" rather than P.Ming. Hover over your your profile area and click on Conversations... there is a button named Start A Conversation ...take it from there.

I'm always confused, so it's nothing new for me...
