You can wrap egg(s) in foil & place in water so water boils around egg as long as you have more water than foil.

Did I ever tell you about the time that I tried to cook an egg in the microwave?......in the shell??
Tried three different times, three different ways.....darn thing exploded every time. I decided after the third try that it can't be done.
The house stank for days.
